The Yamaha Wind Orchestra: Professional Development Project recently concluded its 2024 iteration, bringing together passionate music educators from across Australia with the united goal of enhancing music education. Held in conjunction with the Australian National Band & Orchestra Conference (ANBOC) in the Carey Baptist Grammar School in Kew, Victoria, this year’s project underscored Yamaha Music Australia’s continued commitment to increasing the quality of, and participation in, music education.

Last week in Melbourne, the music community gathered to honour the 10 recipients of the 2024 Yamaha Piano Teacher Award: Breakout, to celebrate these teachers who demonstrate a strong commitment and passion for music education.

We are excited to be joining the South Australian Band Association for this prestigious event which will be taking place from the 29th of March until the 1st of April, 2024 in Adelaide.
