Chord Looper

Assigning Chord Looper to the Shortcut Menu

For easy access we will Register Chord Looper in the Shortcut Menu.

1. Touch Menu.

2. Touch and hold down the Chord Looper icon. The Shortcut Menu is highlighted in yellow.

3. Touch Lyrics to replace the icon (your choice). Chord Looper has replaced Lyrics and is now displayed in the Shortcut Menu.

4. Touch Menu to return to the Main Screen.

Record a Chord Pattern Using Chord Looper

1. Touch Chord Looper.

2. Using the Chord Score above prepare to record the chord patterns
3. Touch Rec/Stop. The Style ACMP ON/OFF button will begin to flash. Turn on the Metronome if required. This will not be recorded.

4. Record the Left Hand chord progression from bars 9 to 12 as per the Chord Score.
5. Press the Style Control Style/Stop button to end the recording.
6. Touch Memory then select CL Memory number 1.

7. The chord progression is now memorised. Up to 8 chord progressions can be memorised per bank & instantly recalled using registrations.

Record section 2 with Chord Looper

Repeating the above steps record the chord progression for section 2.

1. Touch Rec/Stop. The Style ACMP ON/OFF button will begin to flash.
2. Record the Left Hand chord progression from bars 13 to 16 as per the Chord Score.
3. Press the Style Control Style/Stop button to end the recording.
4. Touch Memory then select CL Memory number 2. The chord progression is now memorised.

Record section 3 with Chord Looper

Repeating the above steps record the chord progression for section 3.

1. Touch Rec/Stop. The Style ACMP ON/OFF button will begin to flash.
2. Record the Left Hand chord progression from bars 17 to 20 as per the Chord Score.
3. Press the Style Control Style/Stop button to end the recording.
4. Touch Memory then select CL Memory number 3. The chord progression is now memorised.

Saving the Chord Looper Bank to Memory

1. Touch Save here to save in the User memory.

2. ‘New Chord Looper Bank’ is displayed. Touch and hold Delete and type in CL Aura Lee.

3. Touch Ok to return to the Chord Looper display.

4. CL Aura Lee is now shown.

Assigning a Chord Looper Bank to Registration Memory

We will now assign Chord Looper Bank CL Aura Lee to the Registration Memory for instant recall.

1. Select Style INTRO III and memorise to Registration Memory 1. We will not assign Chord Looper as this is for the Introduction and STYLE MAIN VARIATION A.
2. Select STYLE MAIN VARIATION B.
3. Touch Chord Looper Memory 1 and touch Chord Looper ON/Off to turn on (will start flashing).

4. Memorise to REGISTRATION MEMORY 2.
5. Chord Looper will now turn on when Registration Memory 2 is selected.

Assigning the remaining Chord Looper Banks to Registration Memory

Repeating the above steps for the remaining Chord Looper Banks.

1. Select STYLE MAIN VARIATION C.
2. Touch Chord Looper Memory 2. Chord Looper ON/Off is still flashing.

3. Memorise to REGISTRATION MEMORY 3.
4. Chord Looper will now turn on when Registration Memory 3 is selected.
5. Select STYLE MAIN VARIATION D.
6. Touch Chord Looper Memory 3. Chord Looper ON/Off is still flashing.

7. Memorise to REGISTRATION MEMORY 4.
8. Chord Looper will now turn on when Registration Memory 4 is selected.
9. Select STYLE ENDING III.
10. We will not assign Chord Looper as this is the Ending. Touch Chord Looper ON/Off to turn off (stops flashing).

11. Memorise to REGISTRATION MEMORY 5.
12. Chord Looper will now turn on when Registration Memory 5 is selected.

Saving and Naming Registration Bank

We will now name and save Registration Bank Aura Lee.

1. Press the REGIST BANK - and + buttons simultaneously to select the Registration Bank Select display.
2. We can name each Registration. Please refer to notes on the Playlist and Registration Tutorial.
3. Touch Save to select the saving destination.

4. Touch Save here to select the Character Entry window.

5. Touch and hold Delete and type in Aura Lee. Touch Ok to return.

6. Aura Lee is now saved in the Registration User Bank. Touch Close to return to the Chord Looper display.

Saving the Chord Looper Bank to Memory

1. Touch Save here to save in the User memory.

2. ‘New Chord Looper Bank’ is displayed. ‘Touch and hold Delete and type in CL Aura Lee.

3. Touch Ok to return to the Chord Looper display.
4. CL Aura Lee is now shown.
