a music producer.
- 1 x band will receive a $5,000 cash grant + Yamaha gear (value $5,000 RRP)
- 1 x individual singer/songwriter will receive a $5000 cash grant + Yamaha gear (value $5,000 RRP)
- 1 x individual music producer will receive a $5000 cash grant + Yamaha gear (value $5,000 RRP)

Finalists and winners will be selected and judged on the:
- Quality of song writing/musicianship based on demo or completed song/s submitted.
- The entrant's potential to benefit from the competition prize.
- Entrants will be judged on their clarity, originality, artistic integrity, and potential for impact.
