Yamaha Launches BIM Data for Professional Audio Products on BIMobject Platform

Yamaha Corporation today announced that it has begun publishing Building Information Modeling (BIM) data for its professional audio products on BIMobject, a global BIM platform for architectural and building services design.

Yamaha has previously provided BIM data for its audio products via its own website. By also distributing this content through BIMobject, architects and building services engineers worldwide can now more easily access BIM data for approximately 70 Yamaha products in Autodesk Revit format.

This expanded availability makes it easier to incorporate Yamaha audio solutions into building model studies, enabling smoother spatial planning which includes audio equipment from the early stages of a project. It also supports more efficient and integrated design workflows across architecture, AV, and electrical disciplines.

Yamaha will continue to support BIM-based design and construction processes for the commercial audio market by expanding its BIM data, contributing to improved design efficiency and higher quality acoustic planning.
