Live Music Australia Grant
Yamaha Music Australia would like to offer support to any music venues looking to purchase audio equipment, backline equipment or musical instruments such as acoustic pianos through the ‘Live Music Australia’ grant.
ABOUT THE GRANT
Announced by the Office for the Arts, the Live Music Australia program is a grant opportunity for small to medium sized venues that support quality original Australian live music.
‘It aims to revive business ventures in local suburbs, towns and regions across the country, building capacity for a sustainable live music scene with strong community roots, in all parts of Australia. The first year of funding is aimed at preparing live music venues to become operational following the impacts of COVID-19 on the industry.’
All information regarding the grant can be found here: arts.gov.au/funding-and-support/live-music-australia
WHY YAMAHA
Yamaha Music Australia is the largest musical equipment wholesaler in Australia. Our team of product specialists and experts can work with you to understand your plans and specify the right equipment and instruments to suit.
We are a subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation Japan, so all the support we provide for your Live Music Australia grant comes with the backing of the manufacturer and global brand, not just the local distributor. As a supplier of a wide range of musical instruments, live music and recording equipment we are highly motivated to help Australian live music venues make the most of this grant and prepare to hit the ground running when our industry finally begins to return to normal operation.
All quotes and paperwork will be provided to the venue ready for submission of your ‘Infrastructure upgrade or purchase of equipment’ grant request and can address all intended outcomes of the grant, including development opportunities (to be provided by Yamaha) and the opportunity for venue partnerships (case by case basis).
HOW
Send an email to industrysupport-aus@music.yamaha.com with a quick overview of your venue’s needs and we will be in touch.
