Yamaha teams up with OpenLIVE to offer Hi-res Music Downloads
Starting today (1st December 2015), Yamaha will be offering $50 worth of hi-res (high-resolution) music downloads with every purchase of the STUDIO (NX-N500), R-N602 MusicCast Stereo Receiver and MCR-N670 MusicCast Micro Hi Fi System in Australia.
The promotion is designed so that new MusicCast users can take advantage of the hi-res audio features – a key advantage when compared to some alternative multi-room systems.
Recently crowned the Innovation of the Year at the Sound+Image Awards ceremony in Sydney, OpenLIVE offers users the ability to download hi-res music of their favourite artists as well as exclusive live performances.
“We really see this partnership as a revolution in the way we experience music at home”, commented Damien Henderson – Product Manager for Yamaha Music Australia’s AV Division. “Hi-res music is a new frontier and we’re excited to be amongst the first to be able to offer this type of functionality in Australia with MusicCast.”
To be eligible for $50 worth of hi-res music, customers must purchase a NX-N500, R-N602 or MCR-N670 between 1/12/2015 and 31/1/2016 and register their purchase at
