Yamaha launches LSX-700 lighting/audio system

A Fusion of Light & Sound

Sometimes the most subtle finishes provide the most impact when decorating a room. This Summer, Yamaha explores new territory with the release of the unassuming LSX-700 lighting/audio system.

With its launch, the musical instrument and electronics giant introduces a new concept in home audio and interior design - melding lighting control and audio with sophisticated features such as wireless connectivity and app control.

Dubbed the ‘Relit’ Series, the inaugural release marries the aesthetic and aural senses to set the tone of any interior. The elegantly designed edifice conforms subtly to its surrounding décor, offering controlled lighting conditions via an array of step-adjustable LEDs and unobtrusive music streaming from Bluetooth devices.

“The LSX-700 represents a modern and sophisticated approach to home audio”, explains Wesley Fischer - Product Manager, Yamaha Music Australia. “We are breaking the mould of what to expect from your sound system and the integration of lighting sees the LSX-700 take a strikingly bold step away from the crowd, creating a statement piece in the home.”

In addition, Yamaha’s free DTA Controller app for iOS and Android devices delivers a host of sophisticated features which broaden its functionality beyond that of wireless music streaming and lighting control. An intuitive smart timer offers multi-day programming including sleep mode for both music playback and lighting.

Delving deeper, the app interface presents the opportunity to make user-friendly adjustments to its audio settings - calibration being largely dependent on the positioning of the LSX-700 in relation to nearby walls.

Described by its designer Masaharu Ohno, the LSX-700 symbolises “light as the visualization of sound”.

The LSX-700 lighting/audio system is available now from the following stockists in a choice of Night Black or Chocolate Brown leather textured finishes, with a recommended retail price (RRP) of $699.
