Yamaha DME Series open architecture DSP Certification Courses - Training Programme 2013
Yamaha Commercial Audio run a regular two-day, hand-on certification training programme for Yamaha DME Series open architecture DSP at Yamaha’s Southbank Training Centre in Melbourne.
This intensive course is for integrators, installers, programmers and consultants seeking certification as an authorised Yamaha “DME Designer”. The course covers:
- The DME range and expansion options
- Programming/ control software structure and operation
- System design , configuration and implementation
- AMX integration including iPad control
- IP, RS232, GPI, and MIDI control
- Application of Acoustic Echo Cancellation in DME
- Digital networking including Dante and CobraNet
- Networked control and monitoring implementation
- Customised GUI creation and user implementation
- Customised processor creation
- Playback and Event Scheduling
Participants are required to provide a laptop PC running Windows to which they have administrator rights. The laptop should have at least one USB port and one LAN port, preferably Gigabit, though 100MB is acceptable.
Training is provided at no cost and limited to four attendees per course. Participants will train at their own workstation including a DME24-N, expansion cards, ethernet switches and all necessary software. Certificates will be provided on successful completion of the course.
Course entry is by application. Travel and accommodation packages are available and are allocated on a case-by-case basis. Meals and refreshments are provided.
