In 2023 the Great Start Grant consists of everything you need to make music education a priority in your school.

We are inviting schools to apply for one of two grant packages we are offering in 2023.

WIND BAND PROGRAM - Option A

• $50,000 worth of brand new Yamaha instruments including clarinets, bass clarinet, flutes, alto saxophones, tenor saxophones, trumpets, trombones, euphonium, french horn, tuba, snare drum, bass drum, glockenspiel, plus more
• 3 days of support from leading band expert Prof. Rob McWilliams

OR

CONTEMPORARY MUSIC PROGRAM - Option B

• $50,000 worth of brand new Yamaha instruments and recording/live performance gear including drum kits, keyboards, guitars, amps, speakers, headphones, recording/mixing consoles, microphones, computer, software, accessories and more
• 3 days’ equipment and software training by an education specialist

PLUS: consolation prizes for a further two schools (equipment valued at $2,000 RRP)

Northern Peninsula Area State College (QLD) has been awarded the 2023 Great Start Grant

Freshwater Christian College (QLD) and Frederickton Public School (NSW) have also been awarded $2,000 to help support their music programs.
