You can gain entry into the competition to “Win A Lesson with Yamaha Artist Andrew Macleod” by completing the sign up in the web form which you can access via the QR code at the Yamaha Music Australia stand.
- ELIGIBILITY. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The “Win A Lesson with Yamaha Artist Andrew Macleod” lottery is open to attendees of the 2023 Australian Flute Festival, who are legal residents of Australia, aged 13 years of age or older at time of entry. Yamaha Music Australia and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses) are ineligible to enter and win. By participating in this lottery, entrants agree to these Official Rules as stated herein.
- LOTTERY PERIOD. The lottery will be held over a 12-day period, from 8.00am AEDST Friday 29 September 2023, and ends at 11.59pm AEDST Monday 9 October 2023.
- ENTRY. During the lottery period, entrants are required to complete the digital sign-up form, via the festival program, and agree to the terms and conditions. Entries must be received by Yamaha Music Australia no later than 11.59pm AEDST Monday 9 October 2023.
- ODDS. The odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
- WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. There will be 1 winner in this period. The winner will be drawn at 4.00pm AEDT Tuesday 10 October 2023. The winner will be notified by email and phone, and their name posted on this page by 5.00pm AEDST the following day. If the prize is unclaimed by 3.00pm AEDT Tuesday 17 October 2023, the prize will be re-drawn at this time, the new winner notified by email and phone, and their name posted on this site by 5pm the following day. Winners agree to allow Yamaha Music Australia to use the winner’s name (whether in print publication, online, or other means of communication), without compensation, to notify the public of their winnings.
- PRIZES AND THEIR VALUE. The prize is a 60-minute flute lesson from Yamaha Artist Andrew Macleod, to be arranged at mutually agreeable time, either in person (in Melbourne, VIC), or via video call. Travel costs remain the responsibility of the prize winner. The prize is valued at AU$140.00. Instructions for redeeming this prize will be emailed to the winner. The prize is not redeemable for cash and cannot be resold or exchanged. The 60-minute lesson must be undertaken by 31 December 2024. Yamaha Music Australia remains the fee-payer for this lesson, and not the lesson provider, and as such can take no responsibility for content or outcome from the lesson.
- PROMOTER. The promoter is Yamaha Music Australia Pty Ltd ABN 84 004 259 527 of L1, 80 Market St, South Melbourne, VIC 3205. All personal details of the entrants will be held by the Promoter in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy and Disclosure Statement which can be accessed on our Privacy Policy Page.
- Australian Flute Festival has no association or jurisdiction over the competition. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Australian Flute Festival. Participants are providing information to Yamaha Music Australia and not to Australian Flute Festival.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury which is suffered or sustained as a result of taking or using the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- Submission of entry in the competition deems acceptance of the Terms. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence regarding winners will be entered into.
