Paul’s professional career began when he was discovered by Iva Davies and asked to join the iconic band ICEHOUSE. A collaboration which remains strong to this day.

Recording with ICEHOUSE led to the creation of landmark albums MEASURE FOR MEASURE and MAN OF COLOURS under the direction of noted UK producer David Lord. MAN OF COLOURS remains one of the highest selling rock albums in Australia. The album included two top-ten hits on the USA Billboard Charts cementing ICEHOUSE as an international success. Paul played on the follow up albums CODE BLUE produced by Nick Launay, and BIG WHEEL produced by David Lord and ICEHOUSE. These two albums added another three top-twenty hits to their impressive catalogue of music.

Paul has toured with ICEHOUSE extensively throughout Europe, America, Australia, Southeast Asia, South America, and New Zealand from clubs to stadiums. Highlights include touring the US with The Cars; Hall & Oates; Alan Parsons Project; John Mayer; Blondie; Bonnie Tyler; Chris Isaak; performing at the iconic “Madison Square Garden” in New York; “Live At The Ritz”; the famed “CBGB” in New York City; the prestigious “Montreux Pop Festival” in Switzerland; “Sydney Opera House”; aswell as prominent TV shows such as “The Johnny Carson Show”, “American Music Awards”, “NBC Today”, and “Top of the Pops” in the UK.

ICEHOUSE were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006 - ARIA described ICEHOUSE as one of Australia’s most successful bands.

In-between his commitments with ICEHOUSE, Paul has also played with notable artists and bands such as Wendy Matthews, Choirboys, Adam Brand, Ian Moss, The Whitlams, Sneaky Sound System and more. ICEHOUSE completed their 40th Anniversary Tour of Australia and New Zealand from 2017-2019, playing to a combined audience of 300,000 people, including 6 sold out shows at The Enmore Theatre in Sydney. In 2020 Paul was honored to perform with ICEHOUSE at the Fire Fight Australia Concert at ANZ Stadium to a live audience of 70,000 people, and a televised audience of 1.650 million.

Paul continues to perform with ICEHOUSE to this day in theatres and headlining festivals nationwide, including the “Red Hot Summer” tours. More recently, ICEHOUSE toured New Zealand alongside Cold Chisel for their 50th Anniversary to audiences of 42,000.
