Felix Bloxsom

Born in Sydney, Felix graduated from Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2000. Quickly recognised as one of the country's most exciting and diverse drummers, Felix received the 2004 Bell Award for Young Australian Jazz Artist Of The Year, and 1st Place National Jazz Awards, Wangaratta.

Currently living in Los Angeles, he has perfomed and recorded with Sia, Jamie Lidell, The Presets, The Sleepy Jackson, Sneaky Sound System, Leona Naess, Elliott Yamin, Katie Noonan, Alex Lloyd, The Bumblebeez, David Bridie, Wendy Matthews, Nigel Kennedy, Adam Cohen, and Charlie Watts. Felix has great versatility which is evidenced by slots with Jazz artists such as Tim Ries, Robert Hurst, Greg Osby, Mike Nock, Chico Freeman, Paul Grabowsky, James Muller, Scott Tinkler, Dale Barlow, Joe Chindamo, Phil Slater, Jamie Oehlers, Barney Mcall, James Morrison and Mark Murphy.
