Seamless Controller Integration for a Custom Workflow

Seamless integration with Elgato’s Stream Deck and OBS Studio enhances the smoothness and reliability of your entire control experience. Future support for remote MGX operation via Stream Deck—along with ongoing development and further feature expansion—is planned to continually extend these capabilities. 1. Live Sound – Hybrid Live Setup

This setup enables simultaneous FOH sound reinforcement, livestreaming, and recording for small-scale band performances.

Audio from instruments, vocal microphones, a DJ mixer, and background music playback devices is fed into the MGX16V and routed to the venue’s FOH system and stage monitors.

The audio and HDMI video sources are consolidated into a USB-connected computer for real-time streaming, with the audio also recorded in Cubase. At the same time, a multitrack backup is captured to a microSD card inserted into the MGX.

2. Installed Sound - Internal Online Conference

This setup integrates in-room audio sources, remote participants, and video inputs to support internal online conferences.

Audio from presenter microphones, Bluetooth audio for background music, other playback devices, and time-cue sounds triggered from the MGX sound pads—used for schedule and presentation-time management—is fed into the MGX12V and routed to the room’s monitor speakers.

Video sources via an HDMI switcher and audio from remote participants over USB are consolidated into a computer for online conferencing and streaming, while a multitrack backup is simultaneously recorded to a microSD card in the MGX12V.

3. Video Podcast with Four Speakers

This setup supports a four-person video podcast by integrating studio microphones, remote guests, playback sources, and video inputs into the MGX16V.

Audio from four MC microphones, remote participants, music or playback devices, and jingle cues triggered from the MGX sound pads is routed into the mixer and delivered to both studio and control-room monitoring.

HDMI video sources are combined through a video switcher and, together with the mixed audio, are sent to a computer via USB for recording and streaming in Wavelab Cast. At the same time, a multitrack backup recording is captured to a microSD card in the MGX.

4. Video & Audio Content Production Setup

This setup supports video and audio content production by integrating studio microphones, remote guests, playback sources, and video inputs into the MGX12V.

Audio from multiple MC microphones, USB-connected remote participants, stand microphones, Bluetooth audio, and sync tones triggered from the MGX sound pads is routed into the mixer and delivered to individual monitoring headphones.

HDMI video sources are combined with the mixed audio and sent via USB to a computer for recording in Cubase, while a simultaneous multitrack backup is captured to a microSD card in the MGX.
