The CK88 offers many features that inspire me as a songwriter by aiding me in the creative process.

I started playing Yamaha keyboards as a kid, thanks to my dad's Clavinova, and have stuck with them ever since. I currently rely on my MODX 8 as my main piano for live gigs.

The sounds of the YC series are really inspiring to me. I think especially the organ and piano sounds are a huge leap in sound technology, and it feels great to perform with them.

The sonically versatile capabilities of the MODX6+ accompany me in the studio as well as on stage.

I’ve been playing Yamaha synths for over 20 years: MOTIF, MONTAGE, CP, and YC have always been at the heart of my setup. They have deeply shaped my sound and contributed to the creation of my project, Drift-Lab. Thank you for everything, my dear Yamaha synths, and happy 50th anniversary!

Since I'm also an audio engineer, I really love modular sound design like you can achieve with Yamaha's FM synthesis.

Different gigs require different Yamaha instruments. Sometimes I need a lot of sounds and features, and sometimes I just need a good piano. That is why I have all of them.

Compared to a vintage organ, the feel and sound of Yamaha's YC series is absolutely spot-on.

My journey with Yamaha began when I bought my first reface CP. Since I was traveling a lot, I was looking for a keyboard that was portable and reliable. I ended up also getting the reface CS and the CK88 and never looked back.

Aside from the interface, I really like the CP88's realistic-sounding electric and acoustic pianos. It almost sounds and feels like the real thing to me.

My journey into music began by playing a few notes on a Yamaha synth when I was 5. It was this synth that sparked my passion and set me on the path to becoming a musician and producer. From the original MOTIF to the stunning MONTAGE M, Yamaha has been a constant companion, fuelling my creativity throughout my professional career. With Yamaha keyboards, there's always a connection to vintage sounds, which is really appealing to me because I use a lot of DX sounds and electric pianos. The YC also makes it really easy for me to combine different voices.

My journey with Yamaha started in the 80s with the invention of the DX7. When I heard it on record, it changed my whole perception on music – and since then I didn’t look back.

As an early adopter of the MONTAGE, I really enjoy exploring the next M series with poly aftertouch and the great AN-X-engine. I think the options are nearly limitless.

My first Yamaha instrument was an S03, which I upgraded to an S30, then an EX5, followed by a MOTIF Rack XS, and the Yamaha gear list goes on, including the MONTAGE M.
