“Though I am a multi-instrumentalist, the Cello is my favourite instrument. It feels closest to the human heart; raw, emotional, melancholic and ultimately beautiful. As a classically trained electronic artist and producer, the Silent Cello allows me to experiment with sound, recording and performance in ways otherwise impossible on an acoustic instrument. The Silent Series not only responds to the needs of players wishing to practice anytime, anywhere, but further opens up possibilities for artists seeking to push the boundaries of their creative digital practice. I am honoured to be part of the Yamaha team committed to promoting classical music, and cutting edge innovations in our industry.”
