Yamaha’s recently-launched ’75 Series brandishes a number of new features to get excited about - and perhaps none more so significant than the introduction of digital radio on the RX-V500D.
Following on from the success of Yamaha’s acclaimed ‘73 Series which positioned the AV receiver at the heart of the smart home, Yamaha Music Australia releases its latest range of RX-V Series AV receivers with the launch of the first five models from the range. The latest instalment, dubbed the ’75 Series, is characterised by its scope of options with the RX-V475 and RX-V675 available in a new Titanium finish, and sees the introduction of digital radio (DAB+) on Yamaha’s RX-V500D for the first time in Australia. Other hallmarks of the series include enhanced connectivity for Android devices via Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) and Pandora® internet radio integrated on all network models within the series.
In a joint statement the Bennett’s said: “Putting the finest sound system in the Tony Bennett Concert Hall at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts has turned it into one of the best sounding halls in the United States.
In 2012, the RX-V673 AV receiver gained international acclaim by winning the prestigious What Hi Fi Sound and Vision Award for the hotly contested ‘Product of the Year - Home Cinema Amplifier’ category. Its successor, the RX-V675, builds on this legacy by adding innovation inspired by the new ’75 Series to its repertoire of features.
Adopting ‘Simply Smart’ as its motto, the recently launched ’75 Series from Yamaha promises user-friendly innovation when it comes to entertainment in the home. The RX-V475 and RX-V575 are the second and third receiver models in the series, following on from the entry-level RX-V375. Both are network models that deliver on ‘smart’ functionality including app control, network streaming and now Pandora® internet radio.
