"I have been playing Yamaha Drums for over 15 years, and they consistently sound great recorded and in live situations. Sound, feel, and quality are what I look for in a kit and Yamaha delivers 100%. There is a reason Yamaha are one of the most recorded drums in popular music history."

"Yamaha drums are the sound I hear in my head before I play. I have played Yamaha Drums all throughout Australia, Europe, US and the UK, and I am constantly bowled over by the sound. They make me want to play. Also, I couldn't work without the sampling capabilities of DTX Electronics - the ease at which they work, and the sound reproduction capabilities are second to none, which is an absolute necessity for the artists I work with. I have worked with some of the best sound engineers in the world, and they always ask how I get such a full sound from electronics. Yamaha is the answer."

"I first saw Graham Lear of Carlos Santana play a Yamaha kit, but wasn't really sure what series it was. From then on I wanted a Yamaha kit and played an old Recording Custom 9000 series for years. Now, 20 years later after swapping and trying out different drum kits, I found the sound I was always looking for in the Maple Custom."

“Yamaha Drums have always felt right to make music on. Whether recording on my kit at home or getting behind a hire kit, it’s always easy to get my setup and my sound right. The new Absolutes are ridiculous! I particularly love Yamaha hardware - it’s so light and compact yet so rigid and reliable - it’s integral to my setups.”
