Complementing Yamaha’s new AV receivers, the BD-S671 Blu-ray player comes complete with 3D video playback, HD audio decoding, YouTube browsing and network video playback which enables you to stream video content from a PC, Mac or networked attached storage (NAS) device. With Yamaha’s one button Blu-ray playback and the ability to be intuitively controlled via Yamaha’s new iPhone app, the BD-S671 is the straight-forward choice to combine with Yamaha AV receivers or home theatre packages.

iPhone App Compatible

Yamaha’s AV Controller app provides simple control of your BD-S671. Available as a free download from the iTunes store, Yamaha’s AV Controller app allows seamless operation of network capable Yamaha AV receivers and BD-S671 Blu-ray player from anywhere in or outside the home. Playing video content on a PC is as simple as selecting the preferred movie and pressing play from the app on an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

1080p HD Video Streaming

The Ethernet port on the BD-S671 adds a new level of functionality to an already feature-packed Blu-ray player. By connecting the BD-S671 to a router with Internet access, users can stream Blu-ray movies that stored on a PC, Mac or network attached storage (NAS) device. Simply allow ‘file sharing’ and begin playing your media from these devices. The BD-S671 will also stream photos and music files from a PC, Mac or NAS device.

Superior Image Quality

The BD-S671 Blu-ray player gives you the ability to have up to four times the video quality that DVD offers. It is also the perfect match to take advantage of your new high definition display. With Yamaha Blu-ray, picture quality takes on a whole new level of realism!

SCENE Function

Yamaha’s SCENE function is designed for easy operation. By pressing SCENE 1 on the remote control or front panel of a Yamaha receiver, not only will the receiver turn on but your flat panel TV and BD-S671 Blu-ray player will activate as well via commands sent over HDMI. Further, the relevant input and sound mode will be automatically selected. SCENE provides the ability to store detailed settings on the receiver including YPAO calibrations, speaker settings and other advanced settings. A one-button solution for your viewing pleasure.
