The iPad “StageMix” app for use with Yamaha M7CL Version 3 digital mixing consoles has been announced at the 2010 PLASA show, with release planned for Spring 2010. The StageMix app takes advantage of the intuitive interfacing capabilities of the iPad to provide unprecedented remote monitor mixing control.
Another announcement: the M7CL-48ES now supports AuviTran Network ASIO Streamer, making it easy to set up for high-quality multitrack live recording.
The new iPad app and M7CL-48ES functionality was launched at Yamaha’s booth (1-G31) at PLASA 2010 before the release this spring. PLASA is the leading international trade show for the entertainment and installation industries. This year’s show will take place from 12 to 15 September at Earls Court, London.
“We are delighted to introduce the iPad “StageMix” app for M7CL consoles and AuviTran Network ASIO Streamer support for the M7CL-48ES,” said Kazunori Kobayashi, General Manager of Yamaha’s Pro Audio Division. “The iPad “StageMix” app will provide our customers with significantly enhanced monitor mixing capabilities, while AuviTran Network ASIO Streamer support for the M7CL-48ES will make high-quality live multitrack recording easier than ever before. We will continue our efforts to provide Yamaha users with functionality that’s right at the leading edge of live sound technology, and beyond.”
