'75 Series AV Receivers released

Following on from the success of Yamaha’s acclaimed ‘73 Series which positioned the AV receiver at the heart of the smart home, Yamaha Music Australia releases its latest range of RX-V Series AV receivers with the launch of the first five models from the range. The latest instalment, dubbed the ’75 Series, is characterised by its scope of options with the RX-V475 and RX-V675 available in a new Titanium finish, and sees the introduction of digital radio (DAB+) on Yamaha’s RX-V500D for the first time in Australia. Other hallmarks of the series include enhanced connectivity for Android devices via Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) and Pandora® internet radio integrated on all network models within the series.

In 2012, the RX-V673 AV receiver gained international acclaim by winning the prestigious What Hi Fi Sound and Vision Award for the hotly contested ‘Product of the Year - Home Cinema Amplifier’ category. Its successor, the RX-V675, builds on this legacy by adding innovation inspired by the new ’75 Series to its repertoire of features.

Smart RX-V475 and RX-V575 AV receivers launched

Adopting ‘Simply Smart’ as its motto, the recently launched ’75 Series from Yamaha promises user-friendly innovation when it comes to entertainment in the home. The RX-V475 and RX-V575 are the second and third receiver models in the series, following on from the entry-level RX-V375. Both are network models that deliver on ‘smart’ functionality including app control, network streaming and now Pandora® internet radio.

Designed with ease-of-use in mind, the entry-level RX-V375 doesn’t skimp on delivering features which were previously reserved for higher-end models. In addition to exclusive Yamaha technologies including YPAO auto calibration and one-touch SCENE operation, the RX-V375 sees Yamaha employing a discrete amplifier configuration from the entry-level model in the range.
