Biography
Following the release of their fourth album 'Leap Before You Look' to a capacity crowd at the TREC in January 2006, Carter & Carter enjoyed their eighth national number 1 hit, including two from the current album - 'Run Away' and 'The Best Things in Life are Free'. They have won three major awards at the Independent Country Music Awards, including Independent Album of the Year, Group/Duo of the Year and Independent Artists of the Year. Nominations at the Tamworth Festival have included two Golden Guitar nominations for Group/Duo of the Year and Single of the Year with 'The Best Things in Life Are Free', two TIARA nominations, two TSA Song Salute nominations and a People's Choice Award, all with songs from 'Leap Before You Look'. Add to this multiple previous awards including a Golden Guitar and it's easy to see why Carter & Carter's music is so popular.
